Changing the Default Route Options

When planning a route you can change your default route

option to either Recommended, Motorway Preferred, Motorway

Avoided or Shortest Route.

1. Select Route Options from the Routing menu

(Figure 4.10.10).

2. Tap the left and right arrow from to

select your preferable routing option (Figure 4.10.11).

3. Tap OK to confirm the selection; or tap Cancel

to back to the Routing Menu.

Select Route Options from the menu.

 Recommended: Use recommended options to calculate route.

 Motorway Preferred: Mainly for motorcyclist, motorway will

be selected to calculate route.

 Motorway Avoided: Motorway would not be considered on

calculating route.

 Shortest Route: Calculates route purely on length of road

segments, but this is rarely used since the shortest route in

many cases does not mean the fastest route.
